Mr. Schwartz graduated from the University of Maryland (1965) and the University of Maryland School of Law (1968) as a Juris Doctor. In 1967 he married Laurie Koller. They have three children, a son-in-law and daughter-in-law and five grandchildren. After marrying, while still in law school, Mr. Schwartz became a law clerk for Judges Thomas Kenny and William O’Donnell in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. Mr. Schwartz began his legal career in the Baltimore area where he remained until 2009 when he and his wife moved to Scottsdale, Arizona.
During his time in the Baltimore area Mr. Schwartz was in a general practice of law in the area of civil litigation with emphasis in real estate, commercial, and construction litigation. He has tried cases in the state and federal courts of Maryland, District of Columbia, South Carolina, Virginia and Georgia. His practice included appellate practice before state and federal courts.
Mr. Schwartz decided in 2011 to practice law in Arizona and is now admitted to practice in the State of Arizona.
